Need: accounts on the paid platforms
TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels cover almost every campaign. Fresh, faceless accounts are accepted on most open marketplaces.
Creators and brands pay people to post short clips of their content, because views on your account are cheaper than ads on theirs. You join a campaign, post clips with the required hashtag, and get paid per 1,000 views that are still there two weeks later. This page explains who pays, how the money moves, what it pays, what you need, how to get your first payout, and the offers to walk away from.
A creator launching a podcast, a brand launching an app, or a streamer growing a channel needs reach on TikTok, Reels and Shorts. Buying it as ads costs several dollars per thousand impressions and looks like an ad. Paying clippers $1–$1.50 per thousand views gets native posts from dozens of accounts, each with its own audience, and the creator only pays for views that happen.
That's the deal: they supply the content and the budget, you supply the accounts, the cutting and the posting. Campaign platforms sit in the middle, hold the money, count the views and pay out.
The creator or brand deposits the campaign budget with the platform (public tiers on StreamClipping start at €500 excl. VAT). It's held, not spent, until views are confirmed. The brief states the rate, platforms, hashtags, clip length, caps and minimums.
Clip to the brief, post on your own account with the required hashtag and mention and an #ad disclosure, then submit the post URL. Reviews usually come within 24 hours; rejections name the reason and can be resubmitted.
The platform reads views from TikTok, YouTube or Instagram directly, not from your screenshot. After a settlement window (14 days on StreamClipping, 14–30 on others) the count that's still standing is confirmed. Anti-fraud checks run; bought views void the clip.
Confirmed views × rate ÷ 1,000, then the brakes: a minimum view threshold (nothing under 2,000–5,000 total on some campaigns), a per-clip cap, a per-person cap, and whatever is left in the pool. Clips over the cap earn the cap. Clips after the pool empties earn nothing.
Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer or a platform wallet, once you're over the minimum (€6 on StreamClipping's own campaigns). Klippify pays weekly; StreamClipping after the 14 days; Whop with a lag of weeks. Expect ID and tax details to be required before the first transfer.
| Platform | Rate / 1K views | Views confirm | Payout | Minimum | ID / tax |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Whop | $0.20–$6 (≈$1–2) | 14–30 days | Lags weeks | Varies | Varies by campaign |
| StreamClipping | $0.80–$5 (med $1.25) | 14 days | Stripe, one transfer | €6 | Some campaigns |
| Klippify | ~$1 | Seconds (AI) + window | Weekly to bank | Not stated | Not stated |
| Creator programmes | $1–$1.50 (to $3) | Varies | After threshold + approval | View threshold | Usually |
| Direct deals | $0.50–$2 or retainer | Manual | As agreed | As agreed | Invoice |
28,500 confirmed views at $1.50 per 1K. The same clip at a $0.80 campaign is $22.80; under a $25 per-clip cap it's $25; after the pool empties it's $0. Run your own in the earnings calculator.

Not to join, but before the first payout on many platforms. Do it at signup so money doesn't sit waiting.
CapCut is free; one AI clipper with a clean free tier speeds up picks. Never submit a watermarked export. See free AI clippers.
Open marketplaces have no follower minimum. Only selective brand networks (FindClout) want big pages.
Clipping accounts are faceless by design, and every tool and platform you need to start is free.
Within a campaign, the brief is your permission. Outside one, you'd be reproducing someone's work without it. Stay inside campaigns while you learn. See rights and rules.
The shortest route from nothing to a confirmed submission. The full month-long playbook is on how to make money clipping.
Real campaigns pay you. Any "clipping programme" with a fee, a course you must buy first, or a deposit is selling you, not hiring you.
Nobody can guarantee views. "$500 a week guaranteed" is a recruitment funnel, not a campaign.
Legitimate platforms read views from the source. If payment depends on your screenshot, expect disputes or no payment at all.
Without rate, platforms, hashtags, caps and a confirmation window in writing, there's nothing to hold anyone to. Direct deals need a DM at minimum.
Platforms connect via official APIs and OAuth. Anyone asking for your TikTok password is after the account.
Minimum thresholds of 2,000–5,000 are normal. A six-figure threshold on a small campaign means almost nobody gets paid.
Join a campaign on an open platform (Whop, StreamClipping, Klippify), post clips of the campaign's content on your own accounts with the required hashtag, submit the links, and get paid per 1,000 views confirmed after the settlement window.
Views × rate ÷ 1,000, minus caps. At the $1.25 median, 10,000 views is $12.50 and 100,000 is $125, unless a per-clip cap or an empty pool stops it first.
Post in week one, views confirm around day 14–30, payout on the platform's schedule after that. Three to five weeks from first post is typical. Klippify's weekly payouts are the fastest.
Most marketplaces are global and pay by Stripe or PayPal; some campaigns restrict platforms or audiences (FindClout wants 40%+ US). Check payout methods available in your country before investing time.
As a side income with free tools and an hour or two a day, yes for many people; as a job it needs volume, several accounts and automation. See the earnings tiers on how to make money clipping and the clipping jobs page.
