Hashtags, mentions, overlays
Every required element, every time. Automated checks void the clip for one miss, and nobody reviews appeals on the big boards.
Eight places clippers get paid, ranked on rate, reliability of payout, how open they are to new accounts, and how much work you do that isn't clipping. Campaign marketplaces pay per 1,000 confirmed views; creator programmes pay from a single creator's budget; direct deals and gig sites pay per clip. Rates move daily, so every figure here is a range with its source.
Marketplaces (Whop, StreamClipping, Klippify, Clipping.io) list campaigns from many creators and brands. Each has a rate per 1,000 views, a budget, allowed platforms, required hashtags and caps. You post on your own accounts, submit the link, and views are read from the platform and confirmed after a settlement window before the pool pays out.
Creator programmes (MrBeast's Vyro, Iman Gadzhi's Content Rewards, individual Kick streamers) work the same way but for one source. Budgets can beat marketplace rates and the permission is official; the risk is depending on one programme.
Per-clip work (direct deals, retainers, Fiverr) pays whether or not the clip goes viral. Lower ceiling, steadier floor.
Rates are what third-party guides and the platforms' own boards showed in October 2026; none are guaranteed.
The largest campaign marketplace. Hundreds of live campaigns across niches, each with a visible rate, budget and brief. Listings run from about $0.20 to $6 per 1K views; around $1–$2 is typical. Most accept fresh faceless accounts.
Single-creator boards with official permission and a firehose of source content. Vyro shows fixed per-campaign rates around $1–$1.50 (third-party guides cite up to $3); earnings start only after approval and a minimum view threshold.
A marketplace bundled with a stream auto-clipper. Campaigns from $0.80 to $5 per 1K, median $1.25; views read at the source and confirmed after 14 days; StreamClipping-run campaigns pay by Stripe with a €6 minimum. Free clipper account; the tool is optional.
Low-friction marketplace: about $1 per 1,000 verified views, AI verification in seconds, weekly payouts to your bank, no follower minimum. Popular in Italy; a smaller catalogue than Whop.
Another campaign pool to run alongside a main board. No published rate card; third-party estimates put campaigns at $1–$3 per 1K. Compare each brief on its own terms.
Pitch three sample clips to creators with 10K–500K audiences and agree $0.50–$2 per 1K (or a monthly retainer) in writing. Little competition once closed; no platform protection.
Selective brand campaigns paid per verified view, with the brand approving each post. About one in twenty applicants accepted; pages need hundreds of thousands of followers and a 40%+ US audience verified through Instagram.
Paid per clip or batch regardless of views. Buyers are podcasters and coaches. Predictable, portfolio-building, and a race to the bottom on price with a platform fee on every order.

At the $1.25 median, 10,000 confirmed views is $12.50. A clipper posting four clips a day, five days a week, averaging 8,000 views each, earns about $693 a month before caps, and $0 on any campaign whose pool has already drained. The three levers are average views, rate, and volume; the two brakes are caps and pools.
Every required element, every time. Automated checks void the clip for one miss, and nobody reviews appeals on the big boards.
Thresholds of 2,000–5,000 views before anything pays; per-clip and per-person ceilings; 30-clip limits. Read both numbers.
9:16, usually 8–60 seconds, uploaded natively, no other platform's watermark, no AI tool's watermark. See which free tools are safe.
#ad or the branded-content toggle. A campaign rule and, in the US, UK and EU, the law.
Views are read at the source and re-checked at settlement. Bots void the submission and usually the account.
Many platforms need identity and tax details before the first payout. Sort it when you join, not when money is waiting.
Individual campaigns on Whop reach $5–6 per 1K, and brand deals via FindClout can be higher, but both are competitive or selective. For a reliable floor, StreamClipping's median $1.25 with 14-day Stripe payouts and Klippify's weekly ~$1 are the dependable options.
Not on Whop, StreamClipping or Klippify: most campaigns accept fresh faceless accounts. FindClout needs hundreds of thousands of followers. Direct deals need a portfolio more than a following.
Views confirm 14–30 days after approval, then the platform pays on its schedule: Klippify weekly, StreamClipping by Stripe after the 14 days, Whop with a lag of weeks. Minimums apply (€6 on StreamClipping's own campaigns).
Yes, if the output has no watermark and the campaign's rules don't forbid it. Most clippers use an AI tool for picks and hand-finish the hook. See best AI clipping tools.
At typical rates it's a volume game. $693 a month in the example above takes 87 clips averaging 8,000 views. Clippers who treat it as a job run multiple campaigns, multiple accounts and an AI pipeline. See clipping jobs.
